This site intentionally does not refer to these items as “face masks” to reduce any confusion about their use or level of protection. These face coverings are not a substitute for medical grade Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). These masks have not been tested or endorsed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Face coverings are not intended to treat, prevent, or cure any disease. Face coverings are not a substitute for proper handwashing, social distancing, and following all local, state, and federal regulations. 

The long ties on top and bottom allow them to be worn in whatever way is most comfortable for you. The most popular ways are to either:

A) Tie the top ones snuggly behind your head just above your ears and tie the bottom ones snuggly behind your neck below your ears. This allows you to let the face covering hang around your neck when not in use and easily move it back up to your face when needed. Or

B) Tie the ties behind each of your respective ears (leftside ties on the left ear, rightside ties on the right ear) as if it was adjustable elastic. Wearing the ties behind your ears will leave the rest of the tie swinging and exposed- it is okay to cut them to your desired length.

No matter how you wear it should cover your nose and mouth.

If the face covering is defective in some way upon arrival (fabric torn, seams damaged) a refund can given within 14 days to the card on file after filling out the contact form. Because of safety concerns of shared items, returns are not permitted and refunds will not be given on items that are not defective and arrive as ordered. Clearance is always final sale. 

Each face covering is hand-made with love based on the materials that are available. Interruptions in the supply chain may cause slight variance between shades of black, for example. However, masks will always be made from three layers of 100% cotton for the body and at least 95% polyester for the ties. Masks made in a home free from pet dander or cigarette smoke.
